The short version
Argh! is a private household organiser. The information you put in belongs to your household, not to us. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and the sensitive things you store in your Household Safe are encrypted so even we can't read them.
What we store
- Your name and email address (for your login).
- Your household name and the people in it (adults and children).
- Everything you add: chores, shopping, meals, calendar events, visitors, deliveries, repairs, going-out notes, documents.
- Items in your Household Safe — Wi-Fi codes, account numbers, key safe codes and similar.
- Your saved library entries so repeat items become one-tap choices.
How your Safe is protected
Safe values are encrypted before they're saved, so they're not readable in the database. They can only be read back after a household PIN is unlocked, and only by someone who's signed in. Adult-only items can't be seen by children in your household.
Who can see your data
Only the people you invite into your household. Every piece of household information is scoped to that household — nobody in another household can ever see it. Children see a simpler view and only the Safe items marked "everyone".
Accounts and sign-in
We use email and password sign-in, plus optional Google sign-in. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never stored in plain text.
We don't sell or share your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is used only to run Argh! for your household.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email us at info@argh.uk and we'll help you with that. Deleting your household removes its data.
